Where IS Bhutan?Most people still have no idea where the small country of Bhutan is located, or that it even IS a country! That is slowly changing as this tiny Himalayan kingdom opens more to the outside world and more travel articles are written about the country’s spectacular beauty and unique Buddhist culture. When I first heard the word 20 years ago, I thought it might be located in Africa! I’m glad to say that not only do I now know WHERE the country is, but also that I have been lucky enough to visit the kingdom more than 40 times in the past 20 years and it has become a second home to me.
